Together with our Built Environment, Diversity, and Sustainability Committees, we focus on creating inclusive cities and resilient communities that work. According to the WHO, over 2 billion people live with a disability, representing 37.5% of the world's population. Some of these disabilities are invisible and with 50% of the world's population currently living in cities, there is an opportunity to review and futureproof the future cities' ecosystem to ensure the inclusion of invisible disabilities on cities planning agenda.

Hear from Batya Shulman, Partner at St. James's Place, Ron Loh, Director, Enablers Development of SG Enable, Sofia Magad, Principal Transport Engineer at Mott MacDonald Singapore, Mei-Yee Man Oram, Access and Inclusive Environments Lead at Arup, Lisa Mulligan, Group Diversity & Inclusion Director of Worley and Dorine Kuo, Project Manager at Arup as they discuss:

The challenges and opportunities in the economic, financial, health, infrastructure and planning arenas in discussing frameworks aimed to cater for the "exceptions";
Disabilities, whether visible or invisible, incur direct and indirect costs that the WHO recognizes as significant and yet difficult to quantify;
Key challenges from various industries linked together by the common goal of creating a sustainable and resilient ecosystem for people living or caring for individuals with invisible disabilities.

Thank you to our Official Diversity & Inclusion Partner, Barclays, for their support with our D&I activities.
