My guest today is Kim Rettmann. Kim is a Pacific Northwest Native, currently living in Albany, Oregon, where her husband, Cyrus, is the Associate Pastor at Willamette Community Church. Kim and Cyrus have been married for 15 years and have five children ranging in age from 12 on down to 5. After earning a degree in English Humanities from Corban University, Kim taught High School English for a few years. Once God blessed Cyrus and Kim with children, she has been a stay at home mom ever since. Kim has been involved in ministry for nearly twenty years. She has served in a variety of capacities including children’s ministry, youth ministry, leading women’s Bibles Studies, speaking at retreats, playing the piano on worship teams, counseling and discipleship, and short-term mission trips. Kim also enjoys gardening, chai tea, exercise, music, and writing, and is on a quest to bake the perfect loaf of fermented sourdough bread!

Although Kim's story doesn't include a chapter of tragedy or trauma, Kim does admit that she has grappled with fear, depression, and anger and is learning to lean into Jesus and push past the fear!
