The Preview ads for shows 2 through 9. The documentary goes through various examples of lessons we can learn from the Leadership of the war era young men who went on to create the American Century. It re-examines the contributions they made and how our next generation of leaders can use their example for creating the next American Century.
The first Show is an introduction to the documentary series and a look at Senator Strom Thurmond and his example of making a conscious decision to change, not to continue to fight lost battles, and his example of a public servant helping people. It does discuss his role in segregation and the 1948 campaign as well.
