117. Jason Bowld (Bullet For My Valentine/Pitchshifter)

Jason Bowld, drummer for Welsh rockers Bullet for my Valentine is the guest on this episode of the podcast.

Jason takes some time out from the bands recent tour stop in MI to talk with Jon about the the shift from being a hired gun to a full time member of BFMV. We also get into some behind the scenes on the making of Bullet's new album, Gravity, where Jason talks about some of the different directions the band went with it, and some gear talk.

We also delve into the upcoming Pitchshifter reunion shows happening in November, and some memories of the nu metal era and what Jason and the guys endured to create music that was ahead of its time, and some of the backlash they endured at the time.

Dan and Jon talk about what it was like to see We Came As Romans first show in MI since the tragic passing of singer Kyle Pavone.
