Previous Episode: Lord Hobo
Next Episode: Women in Beer!

The wait is over! We are finally revealing our new host!

But before we do, we have some sad news. Our beloved co-host Emily will be stepping away from the podcast. Emily has helped in countless ways bringing the podcast to the place it is today. Without Emily's contributions, Brew Roots as you know was not possible, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Luckily, for us, Emily will continue to contribute to the podcast for the foreseeable future.

As always, with bad news comes good news.

This week we announce our new host Erika Anderson! Erika coming on board was an extremely easy decision to make, as her resume speaks for itself. Not only is Erika an avid homebrewer, she manages a Beer and Wine Hobby Store, is a member of Pink Boots Society and is respected in the Massachusetts Beer Scene. So welcome Erika to the podcast!

Now on to the episode!

Matt sat down and shared a beer with Dane and Dagan co-owners at Liars Bench. The duo became friends quickly at college in New Hampshire and after graduation both Dane and Dagan settled on different coasts which unbeknownst to the duo laid the foundation of what became Liars Bench. Sit back and crack a beer and listen to the story of Liars Bench.

Sound Engineer: Ryan Blaney

Ryan is a Sound Designer and Composer for Theater. He believe sound is a crucial part of the story telling process. Instead of seeing things that accentuate the story such as lights, costumes, scenery, and props, you hear it. As part of his designs he believes composing music is the best way of telling a story. Why grab something that someone has already written for a different purpose when you can create the sound palette from scratch in order to shape the story that the Director and the other story tellers want to tell.
