Change the Story
The Business Peer Exchange
Vermont Women’s Fund

Jessica Nordhaus (she/her) is passionate about putting gender equity front and center in every workplace conversation. Her day job is Director of Strategy + Partnerships for Change The Story VT, an initiative to advance women's economic status in the state of Vermont. Her other day job, as co-founder of Genclusive @Work and co-facilitator of the Business Peer Exchange, is to help employers apply a gender lens to ...well...everything. Immediately after graduating with a degree in American Studies from Yale, Jessica set out on an entrepreneurial path, founding Horny Toad Activewear (now Toad & Co). She then swerved into education, community organizing, school reform, political consulting, public policy, non-profit development, and equity work. When she isn't traveling the state speaking and presenting, she is a managing partner at a mid-sized, rapidly growing family firm in Burlington, Vermont, that specializes in noisy dinners, bad jokes, and lots of laundry.

Lindsey Lathrop (she/her) is a Gender Equity Consultant and ICF Certified Coach. Lindsey co-founded the Business Peer Exchange and Genclusive @Work to engage businesses and their leaders in shifting workplace culture towards gender equity and inclusivity. She partners with Change The Story VT, an initiative to fast-track women’s economic security in Vermont. As a passionate advocate for women and girls, Lindsey frequently teaches salary negotiation workshops and coaches women on managing money, time, and decision making. In her previous life, Lindsey co-led a non-profit that helped students develop career and life skills through work-based learning. She was recognized as one of Vermont’s 40 under 40 and loves finding new ways to lead with her strengths. Follow Lindsey at Lindsey Lathrop or @coach_lins.
