Dozens injured as plane suffers 'instrument loss': investigation opened

A passenger on board a flight which experienced a mid-air drop, says bodies hit the roof, leaving some in tears. 

Flight L-A 800 was travelling from Sydney to Auckland when an instrument panel blacked out, causing strong movement on board.
