SANParks is looking at ways to manage the Knysna elephant and possibly introduce more to the forest

SANParks is trying to decide on the best way to manage the female elephant living in the Knysna forest. According to a statement it’s also considering reintroducing more elephants to the area. It says it’s using evidence-based decision-making guided by sociological and ecological assessments. Lester Kiewit spoke to SANParks Scientist and Wildlife Ecologist. Liz Moolman.
