Avena Jacklin, groundWork’s climate and energy justice campaigner, speaks to Refilwe Moloto about why they are asking a high court to set aside the authorisation of a gas-to-electricity power plant in Richards Bay. (3,000MW gas power plant). Part of their argument is that South Africa has run out of atmospheric space to pollute with fossil fuel emissions.
