Mike Drucker, comedian and writer for the Tonight Show, joins Nick and Lars to be pummeled by the merciless confusion of Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea, a mid-'80s French cartoon that is quite a strange thing indeed. In the episode we watched, the crew of a snail-looking spaceship piloted by a mouth harp-playing shaman passes through a jungle of living crystal deep under the earth's crust to confront the Spanish Inquisition and their inflexible policy of projector-based pessimism enforcement. Somehow, both Nick and Lars watched this show as kids. Topics discussed within include awkward pauses, Space Ghost's landlady, and Interstellar.
