Today, I’m featuring Chris Goode, the founder and CEO of Ruby Jean’s Juicery, a juicing chain here in Kansas City that is on the rise. I have a feeling ya’ll are going to be drinking Ruby Jean’s juice across the US and the world within the next decade. You heard it here first!
So back to Chris - This conversation was really special because I got to learn more about how a guy from the east side of Kansas City - a place where red-lining and the long-term effects of segregation can still be seen today - how this muscly, weight-lifting, former college football player becomes the passionate founder of a green juice chain.

In this episode you'll learn:
We didn’t talk about this, but Chris is very involved in Kansas City - he’s the newly elected commissioner of Parks and Rec, he’s involved in Teach for America, and most importantly, he’s a very proud papa.
