Today, I’m featuring Chris Goode, the founder and CEO of Ruby Jean’s Juicery, a juicing chain here in Kansas City that is on the rise. I have a feeling ya’ll are going to be drinking Ruby Jean’s juice across the US and the world within the next decade. You heard it here first! 

So back to Chris - This conversation was really special because I got to learn more about how a guy from the east side of Kansas City - a place where red-lining and the long-term effects of segregation can still be seen today - how this muscly, weight-lifting, former college football player becomes the passionate founder of a green juice chain. 

I love stories of anyone breaking the mold, busting the stereotypes, but also doesn’t forget where they come from and the people who helped them get to where they are.
