In honor of Independence Day, Dawn Megli sat down with Thousand Oaks resident and World War Two veteran Len Zerlin. Zerlin, who served in the Air Force, was a tail gunner in a Martin Marauder B-26 on D-Day, one of 36 missions he flew during the war. He was the recipient of both the Bronze and Silver Stars.
