#23: From Anesthesiology to Shark Tank & Survivor w/ Dr. Edna Ma

In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Edna Ma. She's an anesthesiologist-turned-entrepreneur who competed on the reality TV show, Survivor, and then pitched her product to the Sharks on the TV show, Shark Tank. As a super fan of Robert Kiyosaki’s teachings, he's the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Dr. Ma has repeatedly found ways to make money work for her. She’s launched a successful cosmetics company and self-published bilingual children’s books, all the while continuing her clinical work as an anesthesiologist and raising two children. We talk about her humble beginnings as the daughter of immigrants and we get a glimpse of what's next for the force that is Dr. Edna Ma.
