This month, we're talking (and learning) about biodynamic wine. 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🍷
WINESUP: KATE: Love museums? Love corkscrews? Then a visit to the Corkscrew Museum (ahem: Musée du Tire-Bouchon) at Domaine de La Citadelle in Provence is for you! And their wine is pretty A++ too. Les Artèmes Rouge was a big hit with my fam.
CARO: Nottingham's first wine bar with an Enomatic wine Dispenser recently arrived and we took the opportunity to brag that we had one first. That's right, visit our friends at Fromage & French to taste a selection of wines from their machine. (Or if you're feeling really fancy, get yourself a Coravin!)
ANGELA: The Waitrose Food & Drink Report 2017-2018 is out and we're here to tell you who's drinking what. (Spoiler alert: Kate's drinking all the boxed wine.)
Are you drinking anything exciting these days? Or perhaps you've stumbled upon something almost as cool as the Corkscrew Museum. If so, tell us #WinesUp by using the tag #WinesUp on Instagram or Twitter!
THE DRINKING:We drank a bottle of beautiful biodynamic wine from Greece called Naoussa Jeunes Vignes. We bought it from Oddbins for £14.50.
A NOTE ON CORFU WINE:This is the wine shop that Kate looooved in Corfu– Cava Diapon Wine & Liquor Store. And here are two wines that she especially enjoyed sipping poolside: Speedy Wine, which is a bit like a (surprise!) Pinot Noir and this Messenicola Red Wine which comes from a family vineyard that's been making wine since 1455!!!
This Bottle Bitches episode was produced by Producer Paul (PP) of Dark Horse Digital, who send us the following picture of the animal-eating doll he was telling us about. Not creepy at all, right?
