Welcome to my podcast. The show is called “Do You”, and I will be sitting down with anyone from entrepreneurs, artists, entertainers, creatives, and different movers and doers of this sort.

To be honest, these are conversations I want to have with people because I truly admire them and I am interested in what makes these individuals tick. I’m curious about where they get their inspiration, the stories that have made them “them”, and any other insight that could inspire action.

The idea is this, there’s nothing more bad ass than someone who knows what they want to do, sets out to do it, and does a great job at it…all the while seeming to have a lot of fun in the freaking process.

That’s what I decided the “Do You” podcast should be all about.

In this episode, I catch up with Peter Rosenberg who is one of, if not, the longest tenured morning hosts in New York City’s Hot97 radio history. He is a successful podcaster, has been a personality and created media for many platforms including ESPN, WWE, & E!, and MTV2 to name a few. He’s one of the hardest working humans I know, has very few windows of freedom, so I am very appreciative of the time he made for this introductory podcast of my new show.

Key notes from the show:

- Peter schools me on on becoming a professional podcaster.

- We learn about Peter’s beginnings in radio transitioning to his run at arguable the biggest station in the world for Hip-Hop music.

- Peter’s first YouTube video: https://youtu.be/RtBwxZkOhKc

- His bromance with Kendrick Lamar

- Early indicators of why Scooter Braun is Scooter Braun

- The importance of honesty, taking action, and belief in oneself

- Thoughts on internet haters

- Having “balls” in this entertainment industry

- Peter’s assignment for listeners

I learned a lot and I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.

Since this is the first podcast and I decided to go sponsorless. Instead, I’ll take this moment to ask you to share the conversation on the social media platform of your choice. Your love is greatly appreciated.

Thank you and since this is the beginning, ALL FEEDBACK or suggestions on future guests is welcome. Let’s all have these conversations together.

Love, Tom
