The “Boldly Spoken” Podcast hosted by Jessica Casucci celebrates women making extraordinary strides in their careers and lives, from overcoming corporate challenges to navigating the world of politics to showing up as the brave, outspoken, and powerful human beings that we are.

When you need a pick me up or a big dose of inspiration, these are the women that will inspire you to be a little less fearful to take action for yourself and will leave you with the real-life stories of how they got the wins that so few people hear about. And couldn’t we all use a little more “good news” in the world?

Our intention is not to whitewash or “light-wash” what’s going on in this world, but to give you hope. We have a diverse mix of women sharing their stories in their voice, in a no BS, first amendment friendly way.

And every episode is an opportunity to support a charity that’s doing groundbreaking and necessary work for women, girls, or the community at large. So we encourage you to listen, share, and support in any way you can.

August 17, 2020 05:00 - 23 minutes - 31.8 MB

I wanted to start off Season 2 with a bang and I couldn’t call this show Boldly Spoken if I didn’t address a lot of what I’ve been seeing over the last year in regards to the stifling of the First Amendment and our deepening ideological divides here in the US.  I reflect on where I see our country headed, where we are forgetting about history, and share my thoughts on what we should do to move forward.  Even before I was in law school the First Amendment was my favorite, and as the host of a...

A self-described tiny blonde from Florida, Helen Perry’s spirit is anything but tiny.   She is a veteran, nurse, humanitarian and hero and I was so honored to have her on the show.  Her friend’s injury in Iraq was the catalyst for her to go into nursing and join the Army, where she  was on active duty for five years and was surrounded by the very specific trauma of war. These experiences drove her to become a trauma nerd specializing in war-zone care.  However, in a split second her life cha...

March 02, 2020 06:00 - 16 minutes - 23.1 MB

This episode is being recorded the day after Harvey Weinstein was finally convicted for some of his crimes and a few days after the last debate where I almost threw my shoe at the tv listening to some of the bullshit being spewn at me regarding non-disclosure agreements in the workplace.  But I decided to blast some Beyoncé, shake it off and get my ass back to work. SO...caveat to this episode: WHATEVER I AM ABOUT TO DISCUSS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL ADVICE. I WILL NOT BE REFERRING TO SPECIF...

Hey everyone- due to unforeseen circumstances, this week’s solo episode as intended, is cancelled. I always want to put out a quality episode and when it’s time for my solo episodes I want to make sure they are from the heart and are thought through. One of the things you’ll get to know about me is that I’d rather do something 100% than half ass it.  And this week I just didn’t have the mental and emotional bandwidth to get the job done. And I guess part of growing up and growing as a person...
