Carmalita Wilson, a.k.a. Carmalita is a writer, explorer, lover, and shit talker. She works as a freelance writer, and some of her works have been published online.

Along her journey, there was a point where she felt lost and that everything was falling apart. After her divorce, she went out to the world in search of her true, authentic self. She went backpacking through Spain, where she learned the true meaning of loving yourself.

Using her YouTube channel, she created Pink Couch Conversations with Carmalita to create a platform to connect with other people and share their stories. She aims to raise awareness about mental health, self-care, self-expression, and many other topics that black people face on a day-to-day basis.
