Zack's Corner: Just Before Dawn (1981)

This week we are Camping in the Corner and our second offering is Just Before Dawn (1981)! This film is a backwoods slasher in which a giant redneck hunts and tries to kill a group of five campers. Warren and his friends are just trying to check out land his father bought but what they find out there is far more sinister than they could have imagined. This film is filled with terrific atmosphere and chills. It is plenty scary and honestly you won’t believe what is coming. Starring George Kennedy and Gregg Henry this camping trip from hell is intense from start to finish. We think this certainly will scratch that camping itch.
