UFC Vegas 17: THOMPSON VS NEAL | The 6th Round Post-Fight Show

Tonight, Sat, Dec 19th, 2020, in the main event of UFC Vegas 17, we had a main event featuring Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson taking on Geoff ‘Handz of Steel’ Neal. In our co-main event, we had José Aldo ‘Junior’ vs Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera.

Overall, this 12-bout card saw 2 swift finishes in Rd 1, 1 sub, 2 exciting KO/TKO’s, 9 decisions, including our 5 Rd main event. Rounding things out, bonuses for putting forth POTN efforts went to Jimmy Flick, Rob Font, Marcin Tybura, & Stephen Thompson; FOTN honors went to no one tonight. What a night of fights we have to share with you!

Also on the card, we had an exciting welterweight bout between Michel Pereira & Khaos Williams. Just prior to that battle. we had Rob Font vs Marlon Moraes, which ended rapidly in Rd 1, which will most assuredly affect the rankings. Due to fight cancellations (thanks to COVID-19), the Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis vs. Alex Morono bout shifted into the position of the featured prelim, which was preceded by a smaller than planned undercard.
