The MMA Depressed-us 47: Adesanya vs. Romero

This week, we’re fighting off roving gangs of scavengers across the coronavirus ravaged wasteland that is North America. But, between volleys of light arms fire, we’re also taking to Fight Pass to watch some more bad MMA, at least until the UFC gets around to putting on live events again.

This time around, we’re revisiting a few recent terrible fights, including the instant all-time bad-fight classic that was Israel Adesanya’s title defense against Yoel Romero at UFC 248. But before we get to that, we’ll start off the show with Nico Negumereanu vs. Saparbek Safarov at UFC 147, and following that up with Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington 2 at UFC 246. As always, we’re watching all these fights on Fight Pass, and you can follow along by starting each video when Zane says “go.” Or by waiting for Connor to announce the start of round 1.
