The 6th Round Post-Fight Show: UFC 239 ‘Jones DEF Santos’ & ‘Nunes DEF Holm’

On the 6th of July, 2019, the UFC went to Paradise, NV outside Las Vegas, to bring us UFC 239. The event featured two title fights, the main being a split decision title fight between Jon Jones and Thiago Santos, and our co-main event was an astounding but short women’s bantamweight title bout between Amanda Nunes and Holly Holm. The remainder of the card was full of compelling match-ups like Jorge Masvidal vs Ben Askren with the quickest knockout in UFC history, Jan Blachowicz’s flying knee against unsuspecting Luke Rockhold, Diego Sanchez’s defeat via Michael Chiesa, as well as exciting bouts featuring Gilbert Melendez, Marlon Vera and Song Yadong heating up the preliminary card.
