Nikki has had numerous social titles assigned to her; mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. But what describes her best is what she is most passionate about: creative writing, the development of people, gardening and being involved in community programmes. So as an entrepreneur her business, Skylar Projects, has evolved to what her passion is.
Nikki consults in the tourism sector and provides training, development and mentoring to small to medium enterprises.
She also oversees a private testing centre, one of three in South Africa. More recently they started a spekboom project giving away these little gems as a means of helping the environment. 2019 was also a big year for her; Nikki decided to study Honours in English full-time after being out of the university space for 23 years and she also self-published her second book called Mean Cow.
