Classic Episode: Rose Reilly

Born in Stewarton, Ayrshire, Rose was a trailblazer in women's football, with an unparalleled career in France and Italy.

Rose tells me about playing for AC Milan and Napoli, and winning the World Cup with Italy.

Being banned for life without explanation by the SFA, and then being the first ever woman inducted in to the Scottish Football Hall of Fame, alongside giants of the game such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Henrik Larsson, Jock Stein and John Greig.

And you’ll hear about how Rose fought back from the brink of death to go on and be named World Player of the Year.
