  ⚔ 📒📓Journal about how you would feel if you experienced significantly less stress in periods that challenge you in stepfamily life.  If it makes sense for you, use transition day as a prompt. Imagine how you will feel knowing that stress on transition day has been diffused, expectations on this day are clear for each family member, and you have confidence in knowing it is going to be a low stress transition day.

  ⚔ 📒📓 Identify one (just one!) obstacle that is preventing you from experience what you journaled on in #1.

  ⚔ 📒📓 Action step:  What one thing could you do within the next 24 hours to reduce stress in this situation.
