“Minus Three” podcast host Dave Dameshek joins Mark Bergin to discuss which AFC teams will miss the playoffs in the 2022 season.
The guys also share their thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers hiring Brian Flores after he got fired by the Miami Dolphins, and whether the Steelers’ defense can carry the team to the playoffs.
Dameshek points out how Minkah Fitzpatrick couldn’t play as freely last season compared to the 2019 and 2020 seasons. It’s largely due to the Steelers’ run defense ranked last in the NFL at 146.06 rushing yards allowed per game.
They also discuss why Baker Mayfield had a bitter end to his tenure with the Cleveland Browns. It includes the roles of owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam, general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski.
The guys also talk about Deshaun Watson’s looming suspension, and the expectations for the Steelers in the 2022 season.
