There's a huge awakening over the past year on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace but that doesn't come easy.

"Individuals of Asian descent represent 13 percent of the U.S. professional workforce but only 6 percent of executive posts. Meanwhile, white individuals represent 69 percent of the workforce but 85 percent of senior roles, and Black individuals account for 8 percent of employees and 5 percent of executives" (shrm.org, 2021)

This week, Coach Kirsten talks with Founder and CEO of Aspire Talent, Michelle Yu, on how diversity and inclusion can aid in realizing the full potential of the underutilized source of talent, minorities and people of color, to the benefit of all Americans in the workplace.

Listen now as she shares how the rise of hate crimes towards minorities and people of color may be seen affecting corporate America, what we can do to support the Asian American community and people of color, and the benefits of diversity in the workplace.
