On this podcast we will discussing various topics through a Black, Queer, Feminist Lens. Our goal is elevate, educate, and empower those of us in the Black Queer community, and also to help our supporters and allies to become more knowledgeable about what we need as far as support!
On this episode Xay Dé is flying solo to finally discuss the Dave Chappelle Netflix special “The Closer.” She talks about the way the Black Community as a collective seems to misunderstand the LGBTQAI+ community- specifically the Trans community. The struggles are connected, but they may refuse to see it, as there may be prejudice and misinformation. As someone who sits directly in the middle of the two communities, Xay Dé gets a very unique perspective of the ENTIRE situation!
