Today Kwabena Rasuli of Clear The Airwaves project drops by to discuss the issues related to gun violence in the Black community and the violent programming of the rap music industry that targets Black people. Young people fed up with gun violence in Philly organized a rally which was also attended by city officials. Officials are also calling for city, state and federal resources to focus on solving the problem. We will also talk about actions taken by activists to shut down the broadcasting of Kill A Nigga & Train A Hoe rap music in NYC on publicly licensed stations during hours between 6 am est - 10 pm est.
