8:00 PM EST - Join BTR News as we welcome back Kim Melancon to get an update on her son Dwanya Hickerson who was sentenced to 40 years for killing a transgender woman (male to female) who did not disclose until immeadiately after the intial sexual encounter. In hopes to prevent more deaths and live's being ruined, Kim Melancon started a group and movement called Gender Identity Accountability.
A description of the movement states,
"Gender Identity Accountability is a movement to save lives by awareness, lobbying for legislative changes to protect one's right to full disclosure regarding their partner's biological gender. GIA does not promote violence. However, accountability changes actions."
I will also discuss how some members of the LGBT community attempt to bullying people who don’t share their views and do not see trans women and xx females as the same whether we are talking about sports or sex partners.
