QOTW: Are you willing to die for what you believe in?

This week Ann and Dan discuss how some laws have unintended consequences, like in the case of Tondalo Hall. Hall was recently released from prison after serving 15 years of a 30 year sentence. She was arrested for failing to report that her boyfriend was abusing their children after he broke the ribs and femur of their 3-month-old daughter. Tondalo hall was also a victim of her partner’s physical abuse. He served 2 years, she was sentenced to 30 years.

We also get into a debate about whether or not “allies” try to help PoC without their own agendas or ulterior motives? Also how to enact change, getting involved in the political process, and whether or not MLK and Malcolm X were “willing” to die.
