The Bklyn Combine begins a discussion and series on the topic of violence and its significance and how violence has shaped America and all of its inhabitants. Often unfairly appended to people of color, violence is a layered subject especially when in the context of Western culture.
This multi-part series will explore the origins of violence and the many ways it continues to impact society today.
We are the Brooklyn Combine, a not-for-profit community organization. We work with schools, community organizations, and dedicated city officials to help provide mentorship, critical education, leadership, and social support programs to youth and young adults in low-income and underserved communities.
