While all the initial trailers and marketing for the film left quite the sour taste in our mouths, both Jake and myself came away pleasantly surprised with this new Trek. Although it isn't the Star Trek many long time fans were wishing for and there are still plenty of things to complain about (which we do quite a lot of), we believe both old and new fans alike should come away pleased.
