This film follows ten Native Hawaiian high schoolers as they prepare for the annual Kamehameha School Song Contest. Director Lisette Flanary talks about the importance of revitalizing the traditional Hawaiian culture, the intensity of the song competition, and how the personal stories of these students are just as compelling as the harmonies in the songs they sing.
