I’ve noticed that sales, advertising and marketing are often used interchangeably but, while they are all vital parts of running a business, they are not the same thing. I think it’s super important to understand the difference between them so you can know exactly what you're doing in your business.
Sales is how much you’re selling. Advertising is actively promoting your services/products. Marketing is the larger picture strategy which ecompases both sales and advertising but is not limited to just those.
Today I want to explore these three concepts, their differences, and the way they link together.
