Hamilton Paramedic Service is raising alarm that hospital overcrowding is causing too few ambulances to be out on the road responding to emergencies. The recommended time frame to have patients on ambulances handed off to hospitals is thirty minutes, however they say they regularly wait for longer than two hours.
