Ep 48 Tommy Viola - Charlotte Knights VP Communications

On this episode of Big League Dreaming the podcast, Zak and John interview Tommy Viola, the VP of Communications with the Charlotte Knights. The Knights are the Triple A affiliate with the Chicago Whitesox. Tommy is entering his 17th season working in Minor League Baseball and his 9th with the Knights. We talk to the Brooklyn, NY native (Mets fan) about his love for the game and how he got involved with Minor League baseball after playing two years of collegiate baseball. Tommy talked about childhood baseball memories, some of the cool people he has met throughout the years, and a bit about how a rebranding works in MiLB. Ty and Zane submitted questions for Tommy remotely since they were not able to join us live. Then lastly we took a moment to congratulate Tommy on winning the 2022 Guardian of The Game award from the U Deserve A Chance Foundation.
