Restoring Hope

In this week’s episode, we’ve been blessed with the presence of the one & only Anisa Liban. Anisa is the cofounder of the non-profit organization, Horn of Hope. Saddened by the drought and famine that occurred in Somalia, she put it upon herself to combat these horrific conditions that were happening back home. We discussed her journey into the nonprofit sector, some of her previous and current projects, and also her goals for the future. Partnering with other non-profits, Anisa has been successful in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to utilize in the creation of wells, women products and educational resources. Truly a wonderful individual and a person we should all aspire to be.
