In this episode the guys discuss magic. They talk about Harry Potter, Fantasy, C.S. Lewis and some interesting D&D experiences. Magic is a touchy subject for a lot of christians so the guys also spend some time defining terms early on in the podcast. What's your take on Magic? IS it fun fantasy or should be steer clear because of the connotations.

Questions to think about:

What's the difference between actual sorcery and witchcraft and fantasy stories?
Does the magic that the bible describes relate to fiction movies and books of today?
Is all make believe bad?

Scriptures to consider:

Leviticus 19:31 - “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.
1 John 4:1 - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Acts 19:19 - And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver.
