Joy in the Trials of Life

All of us have trials in life.  All of us have periods or times of grief brought about by those trials. These are common to all humanity, but the remarks of the Apostle Peter in first Peter chapter one are addressed primarily to Christians who are going through the trials of life in their faith journey.  As pilgrims through this world to the world that is to come, we are faced with various trials. Not only do we share the regular trials of life. in addition, Christians can sometimes also share in greater trials that are connected directly to our faith and its practice, and to our effort to disseminate the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.
