Jesus- The Vanquisher of Demons

There are a number of incidents recording in the gospel narratives of Jesus casting out demons. He delivered people from demon activity in their lives that held them in some sort of captivity.  Mark 9 records such an incident right after Jesus had been glorified on the mountain in view of three of his chosen disciples. When they descend the mountain and came to the 9 other disciples a large crowed was gathered and an argument was underway. It revolved around a father and his son who was afflicted by a demon and the disciples had not been able to make it leave. Jesus and the father talked and then Jesus vanquished the demon.
