Who hasn't seen a rainbow and marveled at its beauty? God put the rainbow in the clouds after the worldwide flood that destroyed all the earth except for Noah and his family and the animals that he took on board at God's direction. The story of the bow in the clouds as God's covenant sign is found in Genesis 9. The rainbow reminds us that God always keeps his promises because he is the God who remembers!
