Do You Love God?

Loving God is the first and the greatest commandment both in the Torah and on the lips of Jesus:

4 Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. 5 You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. Deut.. 6:4f

And he [Jesus] answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27).

But there are questions to think deeply about. How do you command love? How do you love an invisible God? 

1 John 4:19 gives us the key of how we can learn to love God. "We love him because he first loved us." Why should we love him, and how shall we love God? 

Consider the love of God, and the love of Jesus for us. Knowing this through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of spiritually dead sinners will result in our response of loving him.
