October 31 was the day when Luther unbeknownst to himself at the time lit a spark that led to a widespread recovery of the gospel of Jesus the Christ. His invitation to a debate resulted in his further discoveries of salvation by the grace of God alone through faith alone in Jesus person and work on our behalf alone based on the authority of God's glory so that a person's salvation is all for the glory of God alone. Let us celebrate this truth not as the world but as the recipients of God's gracious deeds on our behalf. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17
Romans 3:22-26 "the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
