Community Support +How does community affect health?

Our ability to make healthy choices depends greatly on conditions in the conditions in communities where we live, learn, work and play. ... Accumulating evidence shows that social factors such as education, child care, income, housing and neighborhood conditions—also called social determinants—influence health

Environmental factors can also have an influence on our food choices. These are aspects of a setting, atmosphere, or location that influence an individual's choices. Layout, marketing, climate, weather, price, and availability are examples of environmental factors.

Factors that guide food choice include taste preference, sensory attributes, cost, availability, convenience, cognitive restraint, and cultural familiarity.Poor eating habits include under- or over-eating, not having enough of the healthy foods we need each day, or consuming too many types of food and drink, which are low in fiber or high in fat, salt and/or sugar.

When Grandpa Bill juxtaposes two elements in my shows, blogs, articles, on social media and the like, I invite the readers to compare, contrast, and consider the relationships of Food especially- between those elements more closely. Going from "Baked Alaska" for a dessert choice and combining Spicy Chicken Wings and Italian Meatballs on the same trip to the Holiday table makes for an odd juxtaposition during the family's meal.

Using sweet and salty ingredients in the desserts,  can pleasantly appeal to the taste buds finding a juxtaposition that creates the perfect flavor.

The almost universal HEALTHY practice is to have food combining the fruits and vegetables  from gardens combined; and the flowers, herbs, clays, and naturally wild crafted foods can be  placed in juxtaposition with the wrong food combining choices.
