You Can’t Go Wrong with Ina Garten – Trent Pheifer of Store Bought Is Fine

Today I’m interviewing Trent Pheifer, the blogger behind Store Bought is Fine, a blog where he has chronicled his way cooking his way through Ina Garten’s entire recipe repertoire. Trent started this project in 2015 after he got fed up with online recipes that hadn't been tested and also because he realized he didn't have the basic skills needed to be successful in the kitchen. After years of watching Ina’s show and seeing the success he had with her recipes, he created the Instagram account, Store Bought is Fine, which is a riff on a regular line that Ina uses. Since then, Trent has made more than 800 of Ina’s recipes and has moved away from cooking his meals from the frozen aisle, to using fresh ingredients to prepare most of his meals. Along the way, Trent has had a lot of fun, earned some food world fame, and has expanded his cooking skills.
