On today’s show we welcome Sarah Moshman, Emmy Award winning filmmaker, TedX Speaker, and now a working Mom with 2 beautiful children. A Champion of female empowerment, Sarah has focused her documentary career on shining a light on impressive women starting with The Empowerment Project, Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things, and then she followed that film up with the documentary that we will discuss today, Losing Sight of Shore, where a small team of women rowed across the Pacific.

Sarah tells us how she went from working on Dancing with the stars to Directing a Losing Sight of Shore, a cinematic achievement. She walks us through the point in the trip when it felt like it was all coming to an abrupt end but how how she was able to turn that into a positive that changed the entire direction of the film.
