On this episode of the Beyond the Helmet we are joined by standout defensive back for the Texas Longhorns, Josh Thompson.
2022 rolls on with a second conversation with a rising star on NFL Draft boards. Josh was originally recruited to Texas by then Coach Charlie Strong, he stayed through the Herman Era, and is now leaving Austin after one year of Coach Sarkisian. Through it all he was committed to the institution of UT above any one coach and it served him well.
We talk about the coaching changes, going through a red shirt year, his injury this year, prepping for the Senior Bowl and much more. Perhaps most importantly, Josh is ready to be the light to help the next generation of kids from Nacogdoches reach new heights. As his NFL career takes off he will be able to inspire and help everyone coming up behind him.
