Description:  Every so often, Hollywood gets a movie based on a historical event and piece of literature absolutely perfect. The producers really get the tone and big ideas of a novel and the historical events the novel depicted. It is a tough job. I wish we had a movie like that today, but we 100 percent don’t. The Scarlet Letter from 1995 stars Demi Moore and Gary Oldman and tries to bring the seminal American novel “The Scarlet Letter” by Nathaniel Hawthorne to the silver screen. Let’s see if Hollywood Hates History today.
