When God calls us out, do we say "Here I am," or do we run and hide? Being pursued by God is a beautiful, yet frightening experience. Of course, whether we're responders or runners, God still pursues us with such love and intentionality. Using examples of men and women in the Bible, this episode breaks down the repercussions and blessings of those who had responded or ran from God. My question for listeners is: Which role do you partake in? The examples of "Here I am speakers" include: Abraham (Gen. 22:1), Jacob (Genesis 46:2), Moses (Exodus 3:4), Samuel (1 Samuel 3:1-14), Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1-8), and Ananias (Acts 9:10). The hide & go seekers consist of: Saul (Acts 22:7), Adam & Eve (Genesis 3), Jonah (Jonah 1), and the 12 disciples (Matthew 28:8, Luke 24:5, Luke 24:36-38, John 20:19,21,26). Other verses mentioned: Psalm 139:7-8, Romans 8:30, John 10:27. Comment on my Listener Feedback Survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1qFPBsYGy1G7zXa7dNcY6X1Mw79t0CKQIm_vE73sl21c/edit?chromeless=1
