Jillian "JJ" Simmons (@JJonthemic) is a multi-hyphenate in every sense of the word. JJ is a mother, entertainer, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and author. As a radio personality for over 20 years, she worked her way up through several markets, working alongside Wendy Williams in New York, and most recently, Houston’s top hip hop station 97.9 The Box. She has interviewed a who's who the famous and influential including former President Barack Obama.

On top of her career as a radio personality, JJ is a dedicated mother and created the website Singlemomsrock.com to motivate other single mothers through her network. She is also the founder of the I’m Me Foundation, which encourages at risk middle and high school girls to be the best version of themselves. 

JJ is also a fierce mental health advocate and recently authored a book, Without Bruises, the story of her journey from hurt to healing after surviving an abusive relationships.
